Trouble

We Got Troubles

And not just in River City.

All over the world, conditions and expectations for a happy and carefree life are dwindling.

We have global warming which is everyone’s problem, and a pandemic that keeps sliding out of medicine’s control.

We also have several on- going wars and threats of new ones.

What does Ethiopia have to gain by killing their neighbors?

Then there is the Yemen situation, where the children take the brunt of suffering.

I would like to ask Mr. Putin and the leaders in China if they realize that the energy they waste on military endeavors would be more profitable to all if they diverted the money and manpower to trying to save the world instead of increasing the chances that global warming will be the last problem.

But then again if there were no consumers of the earth’s resources the planet could slowly heal.

That would take about a thousand years  at the rate we are despoiling our nest. 

Is 8 years time enough to reverse the damage we have already done?
