I noticed Dave Egger’s book The Circle because of the preview of the movie of the same name. I got the book to read because the movie is starring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks.
This will be a departure for hanks as I suspect he plays the villain.
In reading this book now, I find it truly scary.
If you want a horror story without gore and blood, try this one.
On a lighter note, I watched Richard Marin on the Travis Smiley Show and found that I became interested in finding out the back story of one of the iconic comedians of my youth. I was shocked to find that we are approaching the forty year anniversary of the movie Up in Smoke. Now I will have to get that movie from Netflix and laugh all over again at our silliness.
On the same program, Tavis interviewed an author who wrote about Washington.
Erica Dunbar did extensive research on George Washington and his relationship to his slaves.

This says volumes about our first president and shows he considered himself to be above the law.
