Sunday Morning Greetings
May 3,2021
This morning I caught the Sunday Morning Show, and was surprised to see Ron Regan, the son of our former movie actor president.
He was advocating on the behalf of atheists and agnostics. His main point was that government should not be swayed by the teachings of any religion, and to keep our church and state functions separate. Just as the Founding Fathers wished.
His last pithy comment was “ I am not afraid of burning in hell”.
Great.
He had his dad’s speech patterns and looked a bit like his dad, but was clearly his own person.
After the show I got myself going out to the market, and as it was windy and still cool, walked for two hours total, with rest stops, and got my needed shopping done.
Now, since it is only 67 degrees in my kitchen I plan to bake up some snacks and meals for the day, and then work on a puzzle.
It is slated to be near 90 degrees, but with the wind so high, we may not suffer early summer days.
On the program, I also was educated on Cancel Culture.
It seems the Right Wing people in mass media think that we should not talk about the wrongs in our society, much less do anything about them.
Ho Hum, just another political power struggle/ food fight.
Cheers, everybody just chill now.
