Watching some pretty big fails here in the U.S.
Just a matter of math
6/23/20
Tonight Trump did a stupid thing.
He invited supporters to hang out in a closed packed auditorium so that they could worship him, and applaud all his stupidities.
The math is as follows.
3,000 have congregated together in a building with circulating air streams on account of the extreme exterior heat.
Even though the rally was proposed as a youth event plenty of older folks were there also.
Reports of very few mask wearers came from news persons who were inside witnessing events.
Suppose that 30 out of the 3,000 contract Covid -19 from that crowd.
Since no one got tested before hand, being of the mind that they were such True Believers that they could not get sick, as it was all a Liberal Plot,
The conditions were ripe for any amount of illnesses to break out.
If even a few of those infected became so seriously ill that they had to be hospitalized, then there is the cost to family and health care networks.
Suppose that out of the few infected a few die.
Suppose that those who die were the main bread winners of a family.
What do the statistics say?
Some will get sick.
Some will die.
The over all result will be less money to spend on political support for their favorite Carrot Top, and a few less voters.
So do the math Trump.
Is your ego plumping worth losing some support due to illness and death?
Which was preventable by not having a huge gathering of people breathing the same cooled air, and exchanging saliva at close quarters?
Evidently yes, Trump does not care how many people die or become ill on account of his raging ego, it is all good for him.
