While watching the evening news it occurred to me that the members of the Supreme Court have forgotten a very important point.
The children that were brought into this country and became valued members of our communities had no control over their lives. They could not, as children make informed choices or judgements on the legality of their situation. They could not earn a living or become emancipated minors.
They could not buy their own clothes, food or living quarters.
They certainly could not ask for visas to enter Estados Unidos.
They committed no crime in crossing our borders without proper documents.
Now as a supposedly Christian nation, our highest court is asked to punish these children for the sins of their fathers.
Way to go -Supremes!
