This morning there was a picture of Ethel Kennedy, and she is listed at 91 years of age. It should be making me feel younger, but just reminds me that some people do not age well.

Another example is Robert Redford who never had plastic surgery, and probably should have.

When I think of all my young classmates who went through grade school with me, I am pleased to tell that a full half dozen out of 18 graduates are still with me.

We are all doddering around in our 80’s and ever hopeful that we can lose weight and go on long treks in foreign lands.

My friend Al says that he goes to our class reunions just to see who is getting around with walkers and four point canes.

I am not there yet, and can still get all upset at the news and throw things.

That is a sure sign of life to me.

Still, my doctor advises caution, so I don’t do marathons anymore.
