I have to say that I admire some women for finally stepping up and telling this Bully in Chief to stand down.

I do not mean the “Squad” but Melania and Ivanka.

They are more tuned in to the tenor of the country than Trump.

How can he keep insulting women and not expect any backlash from his own family?

Being born in  a different country than the U.S. has got to be a tender point with Melania and her mother.

The statement that Omar made as she met her hometown admiring crowd has to be pretty brave, and if she does make the President have nightmares it is all to the good.

A nasty man in the highest office attracts the nasty people to support him.

He approves of hateful chants, racist actions, vicious lies, and a continuous barrage of stupidity.

According to the nightly news columnists Mark Shields, a full one third of the voters like Trump, so that means two thirds do not. Maybe these are the opinions that Trump likes to lie about- or in his fantasy world just every body likes him. (Except the democratic voting public).

It was also mentioned that this high percentage of dislike while the country was not at war-(for now), and having a booming economy, was an indication of how strange our politics has become.

On a lighter note, I celebrated the 50th anniversary of the moon landing by watching the movie First Man. It was a reminder that chance still rules, and that one moment of world unity did not last.
