I have expressed my views on the population matter before this , but a recent diatribe by a Mr. Mike Lee has set me off again.
He proposes that the answer to global warming is to make more babies.
Coming out of Utah for your entertainment, this speech is aimed at the “family values” audience, and not to be taken seriously.
Just think about what an increase in population does. It takes more water, clean energy, living space, health care and education.
In poorer countries giving an education to girls is what helps the overall condition of the economy and a birth rate reduction helps matters large and small.
I like the little posting on Facebook from an old friend and fellow conspirator. “Ejaculate Responsibly”.
There is not going to be much responsibility if Mr. Lee’s policy is followed.
Well, maybe I am underestimating the wisdom of this young parenting group. Do they have 7 or more children?
No, and the American birth rate amongst the target group, ie. White Americans shows the most responsibility. Those numbers are dropping.
Until the present insane administration comes around to the understanding that global warming is already damaging our economies and planet by burning fossil fuels, zero progress will be achieved in saving the future.
Having babies is fine if you can pay for them now and for the next 18 years.
